3 Min Read

Mackenzie Investments has launched four new exchange-traded funds (ETFs), expanding its investment lineup aimed at providing investors with greater flexibility and diversification options. Each ETF is designed to track a specific index, presenting opportunities across various sectors and strategies.

The new offerings include the Mackenzie US Small Cap Equity ETF (MUSC), Mackenzie US Quality Dividend ETF (MUDV), Mackenzie Global Infrastructure ETF (MGIF), and the Mackenzie Sustainable Canadian Equity ETF (MUSE). These funds are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and diversify Mackenzie’s existing suite of ETFs, which now totals 28.

The Mackenzie US Small Cap Equity ETF seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI USA Small Cap Index, providing access to a segment of the market that has traditionally been underrepresented in Canadian investors’ portfolios. Meanwhile, the Mackenzie US Quality Dividend ETF focuses on companies that have consistently paid dividends and exhibit strong financial health.

The Mackenzie Global Infrastructure ETF aims to capitalize on investments in infrastructure projects globally, appealing to investors looking for exposure to essential services and stable returns. Finally, the Mackenzie Sustainable Canadian Equity ETF prioritizes investments in companies that meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, responding to the growing demand for sustainable investment options.

“Investors are increasingly seeking options that align with their values and investment goals,” said David Feather, President of Mackenzie Investments. “Our new ETFs are designed to provide compelling choices for today’s investors, whether they are looking for income, growth, or sustainability.”

The launch of these ETFs comes at a time when interest in sustainable investing and diversification strategies is surging. Mackenzie aims to cater to Canadian investors’ needs with products that reflect current market trends, showcasing a commitment to innovation in their offerings.

As of now, the Canadian ETF market remains one of the fastest-growing segments of the financial industry, fueled by retail and institutional interest alike. Mackenzie, with its robust product lineup, is well-positioned to meet this demand.

This expansion further solidifies Mackenzie Investments’ role as a key player in the ETF landscape. With a focus on delivering solutions that resonate with investor preferences, Mackenzie continues to enhance its presence in the competitive financial market.
