TIMS China (TIMS) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2025, showcasing significant growth in both revenue and net profit.
For the quarter ending June 30, 2025, the company reported a revenue increase of approximately 27% year-over-year, reaching 1.2 billion RMB compared to 945 million RMB during the same period in the previous year.
This growth was attributed to a rise in same-store sales, which increased by approximately 20% for franchise locations, as noted in reports on the company’s overall performance, including a detailed analysis of its strategic turnaround progress.
The company’s net profit also saw a considerable rise, jumping to 163 million RMB for Q2 2025, compared to just 123 million RMB during the same quarter in 2024. This represents a strong growth rate of about 32%. The company attributes this increase primarily to its strategic initiatives focusing on expanding its store network and enhancing operational efficiencies.
During the second quarter, TIMS announced the opening of 50 new stores across key markets, bringing the total store count to 2,500 locations nationwide. This expansion is particularly notable as the company continues to enhance its market presence and cater to a growing customer base.
The company’s management indicated that the new stores are performing above expectations and are contributing significantly to overall sales growth.
The company also reported that its gross profit margin improved to 65%, up from 61% during the same quarter last year.
This improvement in margin reflects better cost management and pricing strategies that have been put in place to combat inflationary pressures in the market. The company noted an increase in customer traffic and improved average transaction values, both of which contributed to the rises in revenue and profitability.
Looking forward, TIMS plans to continue its aggressive expansion strategy, targeting both urban and suburban areas where demand for its offerings remains strong. The management team expressed confidence in maintaining this growth trajectory, with expectations of net revenue to reach between 4.5 billion RMB and 5 billion RMB for the full year of 2025.
Additionally, the company plans to enhance its marketing efforts and introduce new product lines to attract a broader customer demographic.
